Spectrum Super Star August 2021

Congratulations to Alex Tucker, our Spectrum Star of the Month for August!

Alex says:

I am Alex Tucker; I am a senior, non-profit major at LaGrange College. I was an Intern for Spectrum over the summer, and words cannot describe the experiences I have to take away from it. From the children at the Spectrum camps to all the friendly faces at the wine tasting, I enjoyed every minute of it. I learned so much about what it is like to run a Non-profit, from event managing to grant research. Thank you, Spectrum, for giving me this opportunity to experience the real world of Non-profits while also giving back to the community.

We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with our intern, Alex Tucker, this summer. He was one of our best! We welcome interns all during the year from high schools or colleges and universities. Our volunteers make a difference for individuals and families impacted by autism!
